Staff and children at Happy Jays Nursery in Boroughbridge are celebrating after being officially awarded ‘Outstanding’ following a recent inspection visit by Ofsted. The 45 place nursery received the highest rating by the Inspector who praised staff for providing ‘a rich, varied and imaginative educational programme with precise assessment and planning for individual children’.
The report commented further that ‘partnerships with parents are strong and as a result children make exceptional progress in their learning and development from starting at the nursery and progressing through different groups to moving onto school.’

This top grading is a testament to all the hard work put in by our team at Boroughbridge and is a reflection of the way we carry out our duties in caring and educating our children. I’m very proud of everyone for achieving this highest of standards.
