Emergency servics were called today (1 Sept 13) to Killinghall near Harrogate.
At around 16:30, a silver citroen, travelling on the Otley road, collided with a wall, coming to rest on its side.
The vehicle had a single occupant, an 82-year old man. The fire service was called to make the car safe for the ambulance crews to extricate the man. Air ambulance also attended but was not subsequently need.
The man was not trapped in the vehicle and the emergency services removed him in a calm and controlled manner, before being transferred to Harrogate hospital.
It is not believed there was significant injury.
