Harrogate police have released CCTV images after a car was broken into in a hotel car park in the town.
At around 5.20pm on Monday 15 July 2013, thieves targeted a red Volkswagen Golf that was parked at the rear of the Kingsway Hotel on Cheltenham Mount.
Just prior to the car being broken into, a woman was seen loitering in the area before she was joined by a man who entered the vehicle and took a number of items, while she kept watch.
The pair then walked off in the direction of Strawberry Dale with the man carrying a plastic box containing the things they had stolen.
Among the items taken were a large amount of American dollars, a pair of Oakley Tem GB sunglasses and a staff pass for GKN Aerospace.
Officers have released CCTV images of the two suspects and are urging anyone who recognises them to come forward with information.
The woman is described as aged in her 30s, with a medium build, and shoulder-length dark hair which was tied back. She was wearing a distinctive ankle-length pink and red dress with sunglasses and was carrying a large handbag over her shoulder.
She walked with a noticeable long stride.
The man is described as aged in his mid – late 30s, around 5ft 6in tall, with a medium build and short dark brown hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a logo on the front, grey knee-length shorts and black Adidas trainers.
