North Yorkshire police are investigating an unexplained death in Harrogate, on Heywood Road, off Cold Bath Road.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said:
Officers are currently investigating the circumstances following an unexplained death of 20-year-old woman in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Police were called at 1.05am on Friday 26 July 2013, following the report of a sudden death at an address on Heywood Road.
On arrival officers found the body of a local woman who had been pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Next of kin have been informed.
We are not yet in a position to release her identity.
Police enquiries are at a very early stage and we are not yet in a position to give any further details. We will keep you informed with developments.
