Police release images of scratch card suspect

Harrogate police have issued three CCTV images of a woman who they would like to speak to after lottery scratch cards were stolen from retailers in Ripon, Harrogate and Knaresborough between 29 June and 11 July.

Around £1,200 worth of scratch cards have been taken in ten similar incidents.

In each case the suspect has distracted the shop assistant before taking the cards and leaving the shop without paying for them.

The woman is described as white, aged in her late twenties to early thirties, of medium build with blonde hair, usually tied up in a bun or pony tail.

Anyone who can help identify the woman is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC David Furlong.
