Children from Follifoot C of E Primary School have raised £420 for school funds by collecting textiles.
The money was raised by participating in the Bag 2 School scheme that exchanges textiles for cash to the school. The scheme has helped raise £16m for schools so far.
James Hinchcliffe, Chair of FOFS (Friends of Follifoot School) said:
I was really pleased with the response from the parents of the school and the local community.
We collected 840kgs of textiles from both parents of the school and the community.
This raised £420 for school funds.
