Harrogate Town AFC have been granted planning permission to build two new stands at the CNG Stadium in a move that will see major development take place at the club.
The changes to the ground will see the Wetherby Road stand upgraded whilst a new covered stand will be erected at the hospital end. The capacity will rise to approx. 4000 from its current 3200 mark.
It is hoped that all grants and finances will be in place for the commencement of this work by the close season of the 2013/14campaign.
The two new stands will provide a more enjoyable experience for all fans, both home and away supporters. The development aims to make a better atmosphere within the ground.
