A fourth partner has been appointed at Harrogate-based HPH, Chartered Accountants, as part of the firm’s expansion.
Sarah Wearing (pictured) joined the firm in 1998 at its head office in Bootham, York, after completing an economics and finance Bsc at University of York, to train as a chartered accountant, and was promoted manager at the firm’s Harrogate office in 2006.
As well as the main chartered accountancy qualification, she holds the Institute of Chartered Accountants main qualification in the not-for-profit sector, the Diploma in Charity Accounting, is an audit specialist and also supports family-owned enterprises.
HPH Chartered Accountants, which has 34 staff, specialises in helping SMEs and not-for-profit organisations with a wide range of accounting, VAT and taxation services and wealth management issues and has clients throughout the UK and overseas.
The firm was was founded in Coney Street, York, in 1898 and launched its Harrogate office in Victoria Avenue in 1994.
