Fire crews from Harrogate attended a road traffic collision at 08:37 today (19 June 13) on Wedderburn Avenue in Harrogate.
A Mazda 2 had become trapped between a wall and lamp post. The road was briefly closed while fire crews released the driver and vehicle using a winch to move the vehicle away from the lamp post.
The woman driver was believed to have blacked out prior to the collision.
The driver was uninjured but was taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up.
