A man in his late 20’s was arrested in Harrogate during the early hours of this morning on suspicion of being drunk in charge of a vehicle.
Police were called at 2:30am (25 May 2013) to Stonefell Avenue in the town, where they found a white van in collision with a mini.
The driver and only occupant of the mini, was a young woman. Although very upset and shaken by the events, she was not physically hurt in the incident that caused damage to the side of her vehicle.
The driver of the van currently remains in custody.
