A 50-year-old man from Ripon has been charged with drink driving.
The man failed a roadside breath test after officers discovered him sitting in his Vauxhall Corsa on Thwaites Lane at Bishop Monkton at around 9.20pm on Thursday 18 April 2013.
He provided a positive sample of 48 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The man is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 9 May 2013.
