For the sixth consecutive year, a group of young French students from Northern France came to stay with families of students attending Harrogate Grammar School.
During their week-long visit the sixteen and seventeen year-olds took part in a variety of lessons, visited the ruins of Bolton Abbey, played some sport and were invited to the town hall where The Mayor, Councillor Robert Windass, welcomed them warmly.
The Harrogate students leave on Friday for the return visit. It is hoped that the fifty metres of snow which has fallen on Armentieres over the last week will have melted by then.
