Officers arrested a 35-year-old man on Spa Lane this morning (6 March 2013).
John Mark Christiansen was arrested on 12 January 2013, and charged with stealing eight bottles of aftershave from the same Boots store. Christiansen was due appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court to answer those charges and another charge of stealing four cans of cider from a petrol station on Ripon Road.
Harrogate Magistrates’ Court issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to attend on 31 January 2013 to answer the theft charges.
Christiansen is no longer wanted by the police.
