Lunae Lux were invited to attend a trade fair at York Designer Outlet Shopping Centre along with other young entrepreneurs from the Yorkshire region.
The team sold their scented candles along with the hot chocolate spoons with marshmallow toppings throughout the day to many of the shoppers that had braved the cold weather.
As trading came to a close, and against tough competition, the team managed to pick up the ‘Best Trade Stand’ award.
Link teacher Karen Naylor said:
I am so proud of the students they have worked so hard to make sure their stand looked professional, the award they have won shows them achieved this.
Following on from this success Lunae Lux will be trading their luxury products at ‘Venture Fest’ at York Racecourse on the 28th February, and at Leeds White Rose Centre on the 3rd of March.
