Senior Citizens from around Harrogate visited Harrogate High School to enjoy their annual Senior Citizens Party. Enjoying entertainment from the school´s students, watching a film, coffee, fish and chips and a quiz was all on the agenda for those attending.
Famous songs were performed by the students, using a variety of singing and dancing to entertain the crowd – to which a few danced and sang along! Fish and Chips were cooked up by the schools catering service Chartwells. The food was then served out to all those in attendance by the schools budding set of student volunteers.
Year 13 student Daniel Constable ended the proceedings with a quiz for all of those in attendance.

Events like this are the ones which really signal for me that Christmas has started. Inviting the community into school is something we very much concentrate on here and I am incredibly happy to have you all visiting us today.
