Christmas is coming, and Henshaws Carol Concert is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit.
At 7pm on Thursday 13th December Henshaws invites the community to join in with Christmas Carols and festive songs at Starbeck Methodist Church.
This special evening will be complemented with readings and performances to enhance the Christmas festivities, and celebrate Henshaws 175th anniversary. There will also be a chance to hear from some of the people who are supported by Henshaws throughout the year. Refreshments will be served after the service and a variety of stalls will showcase unique Christmas gifts which have been handmade by Henshaws service users.
Community and Events Fundraiser Hannah Saxon says:
This has been a fantastic year for Henshaws in the community, as our programme of local events including bag packs, market stalls and even a clothes auction have helped to raise more vital funds for Henshaws than ever before. The support of our local community is so important to us and our carol concert provides the perfect opportunity for people of all ages to join with Henshaws in celebrating Christmas together.
Entry to the event is free, however there will be a collection for Henshaws on the night.
