Car fire in Pannal

Fire crews were called to Pannal Bank in Pannal near Harrogate at 12:57 (7 Nov 12) after they received a report that a Range Rover was on fire.

Two units from Harrogate were at the incident within 6 minutes and extinguished the fire using 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.

The vehicle is a dual fuel LPG gas / diesel and the gas container within the vehicle is currently (13:55) being cooled with water although the fire is out.
