Emergency services were called to the A59 Skipton road at Blubberhouses (28th October 2012 at 18:15)
A fire crew from Harrogate assisted police and ambulance personnel with a road traffic collision involving two cars.
One woman was released by fire crews using hydraulic cutting gear and two children were also assisted from a vehicle to safety.
The road remained closed with a diversion in place until 20:00
