The game started off pretty evenly with both sides struggling to find any sort of opening.
However, after 17 minutes Rob Wilson popped up inside the box after Rail failed to clear their lines and rounded Lee Ashforth before sloting home from a tight angle for Lancaster City to take the lead.
Things got worse for Rail 5 minutes before the break as more defensive errors cost them 2 goals within the space of two minutes.
Tom Kilifin and Billy McKenna added Lancasters second and third goals.
Despite a spirited fightback in the second-half by Rail they couldn’t find a way through and with Lancaster being reduced to ten men they added a fourth goal through Tom Kilifin on 80 minutes.
