Paul Beesley’s stoppage time goal gained Town a point and ended Worcester’s 100% record at St Georges Lane.
Tom Platt,Danny Forrest and Dan Clayton, all made their debuts in a much changed Town attack.
Chib Chilaka had Town’s first real chance, shooting straight at Glyn Thompson,but on 11 minutes Worcester took a lucky lead.
Ellis Deeney broke down the left, and his low centre was headed into his own net by the diving Alan White, giving Jose Veiga no chance.
Town, with Danny Forrest and Tom Platt,combining well with Chilaka, began to dominate.
Thompson saved well from Chilaka and Forrest,but on 25 minutes Dan Clayton cut in from the right and lashed in a superb left foot drive into the top corner to level.
Adam Bolder, then instigated a move which saw Chilaka set up Forrest only for Thompson to turn his shot for a corner,which Adam Nowakowski met at the far post,but Worcester managed to scramble clear.
Jacob Rowe made a desperate block from Platt to deny Town,but in a breakaway Tyler Weir’s accurate cross found Michael Taylor unmarked in front of goal, only for him to head wide.
The half ended with Chilaka hooking narrowly over the top.
A double substitution early in the second half breathed new life into Worcester.Reece and Briggs replaced Mills and Birley and Worcester began to make inroads down the right flank.
Taylor shot over and the impressive Deeney cut in but shot wide.
However, it was Worcester’s third sub,Danny Glover who gave them an 80th minute lead,when he rose at the near post to head in Deeney’s corner.
Sub Alex Meechan went close for Town,but it was fellow sub Paul Beesley who knocked in a Dave Merris throw,who gave Town a last gasp equaliser.
