Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is offering members of the public the chance to look behind the scenes when it holds an Open Event on Thursday 27 September, from 3.30-7pm, at Harrogate District Hospital.
For the first time this year, staff at the Hospital will be joined by colleagues from a wide range of community healthcare services across North Yorkshire after the integration of these services last year.
People will be able to visit over 40 interactive stands, showcasing the work of teams across the Trust and showing how the Hospital and community work together to deliver high quality healthcare.
There will also be a range of tours running, to show people around parts of the hospital they may not have seen before like Decontamination Services, the Operating Theatres and the Hospital Chapel.
The Open Event is free of charge, with no need to pre-book. Refreshments will also be provided.
Details are available on the Trust’s website at www.hdft.nhs.uk
