Police are currently (11:00 20 September 2012) at the scene of a serious collision on the A168 near Topcliffe, Thirsk.
The collision was reported at 10.20am this morning (20 September 2012) and involves two vehicles.
It occurred on the north-bound carriageway, which is currently closed at the junction with the A1 at Dishforth.
The south-bound carriageway is also closed to allow the air ambulance to land.
