The police received a report at 8.10am today (20 September 2012) that at the Kettlesing junction on the A59, a silver Peugeot travelling towards Harrogate had left road and hit a telegraph pole before coming to rest on its side.
Ambulance attended the scene, where a 25-year-old male driver of the Peugeot had suffered minor injuries.
Initially indications are that the driver was taking evasive action to avoid another vehicle.
