Just a month after moving to new larger premises in Harrogate, national accountancy firm Saffery Champness has announced four new appointments to support its growth in the region.
Trust specialist Hilary Tucker joins from Grant Thornton and will work as a trust supervisor based in the firm’s tax department.
On the audit side, Nick Horsman has joined the practice to complete his training. The team has also recruited two new trainees, Mark Sherwood and Hannah Waters.
Head of office Martin Holden said the appointments signalled the beginning of a structured two year expansion plan designed to strengthen the firm’s position in the North of England.
Martin Holden said:
Despite the economic challenges of the past four years we have managed to grow our business and this is testament to the depth of expertise in our core areas and a solid reputation regionally and nationally.
Yorkshire has shown tremendous resilience during this time and we have been able to support some exciting new enterprises as well as providing guidance to help established business owners weather the storm.
We are now in a position to drive forward our own growth and these appointments will enable us to expand our client portfolio and continue to raise our profile as the pre-eminent advisor to owner-managed businesses and their families in Yorkshire and the North East.
