For almost 30 years, The British Bridal Exhibition in Harrogate has been the industry’s number one choice in the UK and with expertise, experience and a stunning pedigree built up over the decades.
This event, which started with a handful of exhibitors scattered across the hotels of Harrogate, has grown to become the single most important bridal trade expo which, this September, takes over seven halls at the Harrogate International Centre plus four of the town’s largest hotels, in order to accommodate the 300 brands that will be showcasing their latest collections for Spring/Summer 2013.
Every year BBEH grows in both exhibitor numbers and stature, attracting the major players from across the globe, many of whom choose BBEH to launch into the UK and mainland Europe. And it is where buyers, in their thousands, head to spend a healthy chunk of their annual buying budget, aware that here, in one place, they will see the best, and the latest on offer.
So it is not surprising that the operations, marketing and publicity teams behind BBEH continue to innovate with the exhibition’s look, style and content. This September, fully booked and with a line-up that includes many of the biggest international names in bridal as well as the small, design-driven labels, and many new names, promises some special treats.
A dazzling new colour scheme and special features that include those fabulous three-times daily catwalk shows (where many a retailer picks up buying inspiration for the entire year ahead), a Champagne and cupcake bar in the stylish Designer Room, the Gallery sponsored by Swarovski, the Bridal Buyer Awards Winners’ display, raise the bar yet again for this important exhibition. And the first opportunity to see the finalists in the Wedding Dress of the Year Award 2013, provide added interest. This special award category is voted for online by brides-to-be visiting the National Wedding Show website – and you can be sure that each one of those six finalists dresses will be huge sellers; at BBEH you’ll be able to see them together, close up, and place orders for them.
