
Edward McMillan-Scott MEP (Yorkshire & Humber, Liberal Democrat), a European Parliament Vice-President, visited Harrogate last week to meet Party members and supporters of the European Movement for a Euro-briefing meeting.
During the meeting Edward McMillan-Scott discussed his campaign to save some £200 million a year by scrapping the European Parliament’s sessions in Strasbourg and holding them in Brussels instead.He said this was one of the Liberal Democrats’ manifesto pledges which had become Coalition policy.
