Things are set for the 2012 Starbeck Gala on Monday 27 August. Last year the weather held out and a great time was had by all.
Starbeck Gala Chairman, Jo Nolan said:
We are ready for a great family fun day out this bank holiday Monday, the field opens at 11am and there will be fun all day.
The gala will be opened by the Mayor and then our gala queen will be crowed by last years gala queen Katie McKee.
Theres lots more to do throughout the afternoon, including baby ballet, African drumming, Elmo the Shetland pony, Punch and judy, go-carts, dog show, bonny baby lots of stalls, food and drink and our grand raffle.
Please come along and support the day, all money raised goes towards putting up our Christmas lights.
There is a short parade at 11am onto the Starbeck playing fields before the main Gala is opened with entertainment in the main ring running all afternoon and many other stalls and attractions.
