Rare Jewellery stolen in Harewood Burglary

Police are appealing for information after two rare and expensive pieces of jewellery were stolen during a burglary on Bondgate; part of the Harewood House estate.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 27 June when the suspect/s are thought to have gained access to the house via woods at the rear of the property before fleeing the same way after stealing a number of jewellery items.

This included a pearl bracelet with a diamond clasp valued at around £5,500 pounds and diamond bow-shaped broach valued at £3,000 pounds.

Police are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered these distinctive items for sale and are asking them to get in touch.
