Businesses and visitors to Harrogate’s Cardale Park can enjoy a whole new range of food, drink and networking at The Hub cafe which is now under new management.
Local businessman Steve Marlowe and Yorkshire-born Andrew Copley have taken over the popular cafe which will also serve as a networking venue.
Based on the outskirts of Harrogate, the cafe provides a range of hot and cold meals, fresh sandwiches, homemade cakes, tea, coffee and drinks, as well as outside catering for meetings and events. In addition to providing customers with great quality and service, the new owners aim to create a location where local businesses can meet and make new contacts.
Recently returned to Yorkshire after running a cafe devastated by earthquakes in New Zealand, Steve Marlowe is excited about the new venture.
Steve Marlowe said:
The Hub is a great venue for both business meetings and relaxing lunches but we think it has the potential to be an ideal venue for networking and sharing services.
Cardale Park is home to such a diverse range of businesses and we want to bring them all together so what better way to do that than with quality coffee and delicious food? The New Zealand coffee culture is of a very high standard and after training over there I wanted to bring a slice of it back to Harrogate. The roasters will actually stop selling you their beans if they don’t like the way you make your coffee, needless to say I had a tough audience to please!
We’re looking forward to meeting all of our customers both old and new, so feel free to pop in, say hello and try some of our new menu – we guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
The Hub provides a range of quality hot and cold food and drink in a relaxed and comfortable setting with free wifi. Located at Cardale Park near Harrogate, the cafe is open from 8am every week day.
