Last night (14 July 2012) Ripley hosted the spitfire prom pictured against its stunning parkland.
The WWII spitfire was choreographed to music and wowed the crowds, not just with a flyover, but with a display of aerobatics too.
The evening remained dry and even saw a good deal of sunshine too. Many people had brought tables and chairs and had laid out lavish banquets.
The weekend of music continues this evening with The Wanted playing being supported by Lawson.
