With over 45 years styling Harrogate shoppers between them, long serving colleagues at the Debenhams store are taking centre stage, as they officially unveil the results of an extensive modernisation programme.
On Thursday 21 June, the new look store was officially re-launched to shoppers by the store’s long serving colleagues.
Caroline Knowles has served the local people of Harrogate for 25 years at the store and colleague Ruth Carlisle, isn’t too far behind with 20 years long service. Both Caroline and Ruth are delighted to open the store on behalf of Debenhams.
The store’s official re-launch ceremony took place with a ribbon cutting at the cosmetics entrance on Parliament St at 10am.
Claire McAvan said:
Who better to re-launch our new look than the colleagues who have been such an integral part of the store for so long?
Long serving colleague Caroline added:
We’re looking forward to getting glammed up on Thursday for the re-launch. We’ll be practising our best model behaviour!
As part of the modernisation the beauty hall expands and receives a glossy new floor and a wonderful revitalized appearance. New beauty brands include Benefit, Elemis, Brow Bar, Origins and Bare Minerals.
New ranges include H by Henry Holland which is added to the existing womenswear offer and introduces B by Ted Baker to the lingerie range.
New changing rooms, toilets and baby change plus a Personal Shopper suite are introduced, all to the latest specification.
