Harrogate International Festivals’ town centre box office opens Saturday 23 June

HIF60 years of the Queen’s reign, the 10th Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival and the 47th Harrogate Festival.

The Town Centre Box Office will be bringing this celebratory ‘Best of British’ theme to life, with its opening weekend theme of ‘Top Hats and Tiaras’, with an array of props and games for all. Decorated in bunting, and completed with giant tea cup’s housing pretty flower displays and an array of union jack cushions and beanbags to relax on in the piazza, if you’re shopping in Harrogate you certainly won’t miss it! Come along and enjoy a cake and get a taste of the Festival programme at the same time. What’s more, there will be select ticket offers for a range of Festival events, with exclusive offers for the Curtis Stigers and Black Dyke Band events planned, among many other great deals, so be sure to drop by and take advantage of some great prices on tickets this Summer!

Looking forward to this year’s exciting and interactive Children’s Festival, which is taking place 7 & 8 and 14 & 15 July, there’ll be something fun and free for all the family this forthcoming weekend. From traditional children’s games and arts and crafts, the Festival aims to enthral and excite with egg and spoon races, hopscotch, space hoppers, giant jenga and bubbles and balloons galore. There’ll be sparkly tiaras and luxurious top hats hanging from a hat stand for the little ones to try on, or kids can get creative and make their very own with Festival staff on hand to help! And for the adults, there’ll be a range of crime books given away thanks to, and in celebration of, the forthcoming Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival, so adults can dip into a good read while the children play!
