Elton John will be fit and well to play the big night on the 5 June in Harrogate despite recent health problems.
There has been concerns around his health and he underwent extensive tests at the Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday (22 May), following which, doctors recommended complete rest for approximately seven days to cure his respiratory infection and prevent any damage.
A spokesperson for Elton John told Harrogate-News:
He was taken to Hospital just for tests, he’s probably sat on his yacht just now.
Elton is looking forward to looking forward to performing for the UK audiences.
Three concerts have been cancelled in Los Angeles and Elton John apologised to his fans “All I can say to the fans is sorry I can’t be with you”
Elton John returns to the UK from the USA next week, before then heading to Germany to perform in Wetzlar on the 1st June. He then travels to London to be part of the Jubilee Concert on the 4th June, the day before he comes to Harrogate.
