Harrogate police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a youth who has failed to appear at court.
Ryan Stuart Wilson, 17, of East Parade, is wanted for failing to comply with a supervision order following a sentence for offences of burglary with intent and criminal damage.
He was due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 16 May 2012.
Wilson is white, 5ft 10in tall with a proportionate build and short dark brown hair.
Although his whereabouts are unknown, it is strongly believed that Wilson is still in the Harrogate area.
Inspector David Porter, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
It is important that Wilson faces the consequences of his actions.
I urge anyone who may have seen Ryan Wilson since last Wednesday to contact the police immediately.
Ryan, I am also speaking directly to you. I strongly advise you to turn yourself in. This case will not go away and you are only creating more issues for yourself and your family.”
If you have seen Ryan Wilson or can help to locate him, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, press option 1 and pass the information to the Force Control Room. Or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
