It has now been confirmed via CCTV footage that he was walking along Harehills Lane at 4:41 yesterday afternoon (27 April 2012).
Investigations continue to be focused upon the Leeds area and officers are liaising closely with colleagues in Cleveland.
Cleveland Police and North Yorkshire Police are urgently seeking the whereabouts of a Mr Allen in connection with two murders in Middlesbrough and Whitby
Police continue to ask anyone who has seen Mr Allen or has information which could assist in our enquiries to contact West Yorkshire Police on the non emergency number 101.
Mr Allen is considered dangerous and we would ask members of the public not to approach him but to contact us immediately.
