A fire took hold last night (19 April 2012) to the ProCam warehouse in Felixkirk near to Thirsk.
NationalPowergrid staff, who were working locally, noticed the fire and raised the alarm at around 11:30pm
Currently the fire investigators are on-site determining the cause. The office section of the building has received extensive smoke damage and one area of the main warehouse has also been damaged, with fire burning through lighting panels.
The fire was attended by two fire pumps who accessed the fire through the roof using a platoform and hose jets.
There were no injuries as a result and no chemicals have been leaked beyond the warehouse itself.
