Integrated communications consultancy, Acceleris has welcomed two new additions, Jack Williams and Carys Samuel, both 22, to further strengthen its team.
Carys, a graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University’s Public Relations degree course joins as an Account Executive from the Turn Key agency in Leeds. Whilst at university Carys completed a placement year as part of the in-house PR team at the Central Office of Information in London working on campaigns such as RAF Careers and Fire Kills. During the year she also worked in the ‘Forward Planning’ department at 10 Downing Street.

Jack studied English Literature and Creative Writing at Northumbria University and also joins as an Account Executive following an initial three months work experience placement.

Since January 2012 Acceleris has acquired six new clients with accumulated annual fees in excess of £150,000, including Bradford based Tong High School, specialist rental business Adapted Vehicle Hire and parent company Nexus Vehicle Management as well as project work with Bauer Media to support the 2012 Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show.
Acceleris also recently won a Public Relations Consultancy Association’s Golden Hedgehog ‘Not for Profit Campaign of The Year’ Award for its innovative ‘Celebrations of The Sea’ campaign on behalf of the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society. The project has also been shortlisted for a Drum Marketing Award for ‘PR Strategy of The Year’ and the Golden Hedgehog is one of many awards won by Acceleris in just over five years of operation including the CIPR Pride Award Yorkshire for ‘Most Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy’ in 2010/11.
