Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body at a property in Harehills, Leeds.
Shortly after a 1pm on Fri April 6, officers were called to a flat at Ashton Court where they found the body of a woman aged in her fifties. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 61-year-old local man was arrested from the property on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
