Last week, 2 vehicles had there catalytic converters removed from the exhaust systems of their vehicles.
Both attacks were carried out in broad daylight on the Sandbeck industrial estate in Wetherby. The brazen thieves were seen to make off in a blue vehicle.
Due to the high value of metal the converters contain have resulted in vehicles being stripped of these across the country. To replace these can cost over £1000
