Work on replacing the Valley Gardens Fort in Harrogate’s Valley Gardens has been well under way for nearly three weeks and for safety reasons, the entire play area has been closed since Monday, 19 March.
The development has gone well and the contractors are ahead of schedule. The formal opening of the play area will be on 3 April 2012, but it will be open from this Monday 26 March to the general public.
The Council have asked that in the meantime that people people refrain from going in the play area and observe the signs advising them not to.
