Police have made an arrest following investigations into the robbery at Fattorini’s jewellery store in Harrogate on Tuesday 20 March 2012.
Harrogate Police officers travelled to Leeds this morning (Thursday 22 March 2012) and arrested a man in his 20s who is is currently in police custody.
Two men forced their way into the shop using a sledgehammer to force the door off its hinges. Once inside the shop, they had threatened staff with the sledgehammer before stealing several items of high-value jewellery
Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the incident or anyone who saw the silver Astra in Valley Drive or Valley Road.
