Harrogate Hockey Club u-10 boys are Yorkshire champions at the weekend after an impressive all-round display in the county finals.
The youngsters beat York, Airedale and Ben Rhydding A and B teams to take the title. Captain Thom Nash claimed the vital final goal while keeper Alex Middlebrook pulled off some stunning saves to keep a clean sheet in the last match of the day.
The boys, who just last week were named Junior Team of the Year in the Harrogate District Sports Awards, will next be in action in the North of England finals on April 1st.
