North Yorkshire County Council will be carrying out essential footway repair works along the A6055, Boroughbridge Road, Knaresborough, at the junction of Bond End, for approximately two weeks from next Monday (March 19).
The work will be undertaken between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm and to enable them to be completed safely, temporary traffic controls will be in place. Pedestrians will be diverted along St Margaret’s Road, for the duration of the work. The alternative route will be clearly signposted.
The County Council is working with Virgin Media and Northern Electric to combine all the necessary works to minimise inconvenience. The work has been planned to be completed before the start of the Easter holidays.
