People thinking of becoming self-employed are being urged to attend an Enterprise Club at Ripon Library.
The fortnightly sessions will be run by Training For Employment (Yorkshire) LLP who will provide advice and training on matters such as:
– business planning
– financial issues
– legal issues
– marketing and advertising
County Councillor Chris Metcalfe, Executive Member for Library & Community Services said:
In today’s economic climate good advice and training is critical to the success of a new business. ‘Training for Employment’ is offering a helping hand in the friendly and welcoming environment of Ripon library. I’d strongly encourage anyone thinking of setting up their own business to take advantage of this free and impartial service.
The service is available fortnightly on Wednesdays from 2:30pm to 4pm from 29th February.
