Many local Businesses will be attending a meeting this evening ( 9 Jan 11) to discuss the development of the Harrogate town centre.
Cllr Richard Cooper, HBC Cabinet Member, Planning, Transport & Economic Development will be chairing the meeting with the overall principles of balancing the need for investment, economic development, jobs & traffic flow in the Town Centre
There will be short illustrated presentations from four speakers with plenty of time for questions:
- Lateral Property Group Ltd., Harrogate – a vision for upgrading the War Memorial, Parliament Street & the Montpellier Quarter
- Johnny Caddick, Director & Jim Dyson, Director, Caddick Developments Ltd, Wetherby – retail, leisure, residential apartment & new transport interchange development on Station Parade • Rob Thompson, Asset Manager, Commercial Estates Group, Harrogate – re-letting Copthall Bridge House retail & office premises on Station Parade & Station Bridge
- Richard S J Tovey, Development Director, Gregory Property Group, Leeds – proposed new Travelodge Hotel, restaurant, retail & leisure space on Tower Street, West Park
