The four teenagers who were arrested in connection with the Valley Gardens fire have had their bail terms extended from the end of November until the start of February 2012. The Police have said that this is to allow enquiries to continue.
Arrests were made quickly after the blaze, which destroyed a wooden fort at the Valley Gardens play park in Harrogate, during the early hours of Saturday 8 October 2011.
At the time four teenagers were arrested with four other teenagers released with no further action.
