Detectives in Thirsk are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed at knifepoint.
The victim, a 30-year-old local man, was approached by two men on Station Road at around 10pm on Sunday 27 November 2011.
One of the suspects allegedly brandished a knife before searching the victim’s pockets and taking his wallet containing a sum of cash.
The first offender, who was dressed in dark clothing, is described as white and around 6ft tall.
The second man, who was carrying the knife, is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a dark hooded-top with tracksuit bottoms and a dark blue scarf covering his face.
Police have been making enquiries in the town and are appealing for people to come forward who possibly witnessed the incident or can help identify the suspects.
Detective Constable Karen Barugh, of Northallerton CID, said:
Fortunately, the victim was uninjured in this incident but robbery is a very distressing crime for anyone.
It is important that we trace the suspects as soon as possible and I am appealing to the public to contact the police or Crimestoppers if they saw any suspicious activity in Thirsk on Sunday night.
