The Knowledge Emporium is an old-fashioned sweetshop in a converted 1950’s airstream caravan. The Emporium trades in sweets, the sort you remember as a kid. But The Emporium does not accept money. It only trades in knowledge. Throughout the week, you’re invited to The Emporium to share a secret, a fascinating fact, a favourite poem, a family recipe – whatever you want – and enter it in The Big Book of Everything We Know. In return for your generosity, you can help yourself to some sweets. At the end of the week, Slung Low will create a performance solely formed of the knowledge shared by you and your fellow sweet-lovers, celebrating the collective knowledge of our community.
