Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the fatal road traffic accident in Harewood, Leeds on Wednesday evening.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to a female driver of a silver 4×4 which was seen turning into Weardley Lane from Arthington Lane moments after the crash and are urging her to contact them to assist with the investigation.
The crash occurred at 7.30pm on July 20th at the junction between Weardley Lane and Otley Road when a Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with a HGV.
Two women in the Corsa, the 58 year old driver and the 85 year old front seat passenger died at the scene. The 84 year old female rear seat passenger was air lifted to the Leeds General Infirmary where she later died.
The female 4×4 driver and any other witnesses are asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 0845 60 60 606.
