Harrogate-based Ashworth Law has made a key appointment to its newly launched Probate Recovery department.
Terry Timpson, whose career in Probate Recovery spans more than ten years, joins the expanding company as a senior litigation executive.
Mr Timpson has previously worked for Legal 500 ranked solicitors in Leeds and a major car finance company. Three years ago he was head-hunted by another major Leeds-based law firm to help it set up their probate recovery department.
Ashworth Law co-founder Mathew Cobley said: “Having just launched the Probate Recovery department it was essential that we appointed someone with extensive experience and expertise in this area.”

Since its launch, Ashworth Law’s Probate Recovery department is now working on behalf of a number of local authorities and a major water company in order to recoup their unpaid bills from deceased estates.
